It’s that easy

Welcome to The Vittle Kitchen, where delicious food and family come together. We help take the stress out of everyday dinner preparation so you can enjoy fresh, wholesome meals with those you love.

The positive effects of a home cooked meal became clear to us through our years of volunteering with the Home Cook Heros program at the Gift of Life Family House in Philadelphia, a home away from home for organ transplant patients and their families. Guests from around the world enjoy a freshly prepared meal at the end of an otherwise hectic day. Eating, sharing, talking, bonding.

At The Vittle Kitchen, we offer the same positive community with affordable quality meals prepared so dinner can be about time spent around the table together. Our diverse menu of home- cooked meals is easy - just “heat and eat.”

Memories are made around the table, when meals are prepared by The Vittle Kitchen.

What does The Vittle Kitchen Offer?

We prepare a variety of home-made meals each week. There are no subscriptions and you are free to order one meal at a time or enough to cover the entire week. Meals are ready to heat and eat so your evenings are more about spending time together.

When must my order be placed?

Orders must be placed by midnight on Wednesday for pickup/delivery on Sunday 12-2PM or pickup only Monday 4-6PM.

Do you take special requests?

Our goal is to feed family’s fresh food at a reasonable cost. In order to do so, we cannot adjust meals to your family’s taste. Meals are typically mildly seasoned, with only enough sodium for taste.

Do you deliver?

We deliver to select areas in Bucks and Montgomery County. We are currently running a promotion for free delivery to select zip codes with the purchase of 4 nightly meals.  Deliveries are made Sundays Noon – 2 PM only.

If your zip code is not in our delivery area, please let us know you are interested in delivery and we will make every attempt to add it to our service area.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

We prefer to deliver when you are home, so the food is as fresh as possible. If something comes up, please leave a cooler with ice packs or let us know and we will hold your order for pickup at the kitchen.

How do I pay for my Dinner Plan?

Payments may be made with your credit / debit card during the checkout process. All payments are due at the time of order.

Can I freeze my dinners?

We believe our meals are best served fresh, although some items will freeze well. Freezing your dinners may change the texture and/or taste of the food.

Are heating instructions provided?

Yes, every meal is labeled with the proper heating instructions. We recommend re-heating in the oven for the best quality and taste but if you prefer to microwave, please let us know in the “Notes” area when placing your order and we will package appropriately.

How long can I keep the food in the refrigerator?

All food is cooked fresh on Saturday/Sunday and should be discarded from your refrigerator if not eaten by Friday. We suggest eating any salad or seafood first.
